As part of the bpma drive to engage with more end users the bpma will be exhibiting at the biggest marketing show of the year - Marketing Week Live where over 10,000 forward thinking marketers are forecasted to attend. A number of bpma members have supported a goody bag of great innovative ideas for visitors. Top speakers from Dominos Pizza, Coca Cola, Unilever and 02 are supporting the engaging conference programme.

Congratulations bpma Academy students!The bpma would like to congratulate all the Academy students who passed the bpma Academy's Certificate in Promotional Merchandise September 2009 course. 19 students from both supplier and distributor companies, including Dowlis, Brand Addition, ID&C and POD Packaging, passed the course receiving a pass, credit or distinction. The grades awarded reflect their commitment, effort and ability to apply the knowledge they have learnt to a diverse range of industry scenarios. The graduation ceremony, where they will be awarded with their certificates will take place at the House of Commons later in the year.

By popular demand the bpma have brought back the Dragon Boat Race event in 2010. The event will take place Wednesday 7th July at Dorney Lake, Windsor, the rowing centre for London's 2012 Olympics. Previous winners include the bpma, and the Marketing Store. Interested, then call the bpma events team.

Creative Emporium, the Promotional Merchandise and Clothing company based in Leeds has become one of the first companies in the world to purchase a new Clean Burn textile dryer from Sanco Technology UK in partnership with global print consultants CPN The clean burn technology is claimed to provide unprecedented control over drying parameters, superior air flow for more effective and efficient drying performance, and to reduce energy costs by up to 40%.
